Itinerary

Day 1 – Cochin – Munnar

After you arrive at Cochin airport, travel to Munnar as it is your next destination. Your first stop is Hamlet – a charming hill that served as the summer capital of the British government in India. The vast, unending expanse of tea plantations and the mild climate throughout the year makes it a modest haven for tourists. See the critically endangered Nilgiri Thars, a species of mountain goat, when you visit Rajamala in the afternoon. Spend the evening in Munnar and relax as the night is yours.

Day 2 – Munnar

Visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam after breakfast, you can leverage the perks of speedboat facilities here. The Kundala tea plantation is situated on one side of the dam, while trees and a broad expanse of grassland surround it on the other. As the afternoon is free you can unwind and laze around. Moving further you can relax and spend the evening in Munnar.

Day 3 – Munnar – Thekkady

(Wildlife Sanctuary & Spice Plantation) Take an early morning trip to Thekkady. Stay at Thekkady until lunchtime, after that, head to the Periyar Lake, and have a boat ride (extra fee). There is a sanctuary situated at the Periyar Lake. This is the only sanctuary in India where you might get the unique chance to view wildlife up close and personal from the comfort of a boat. Once your tour is complete, remain in Thekkady overnight.

Day 4 – Thekkady – Cochin

Proceed to Cochin for some shopping after breakfast before making your way back.
