Day 01: Cochin To Munnar (140 Kms /4 Hrs )
You will be received by our agent at Cochin Airport who will escort you to your accommodation. Your hotel will be situated in the lovely sanctuary of Munnar. You will start enjoying your vacation from this moment itself.
After checking in at the hotel, freshen yourself up and be prepared to be amazed by the astonishing beauty of the state. Wander through Munnar's town and take in the endless expanse of tea plantations, the pristine valleys, the mountains, the unusual species of flora and wildlife, as well as the aroma of spices permeating the chilly air. You can also visit the dam and lake at Mattupetty. After enjoying the day, you can return to your accommodation for the night and rejuvenate yourself for upcoming adventures the next day.
Day 02: Munnar
After a delicious and heavy breakfast, you will be taken on a tour of Eravikulam National Park.
The number of Tahrs in the park is the highest known to exist anywhere in the world. Elephants, Sambhars, Gaurs, Lion-tailed Macaques, and Nilgiri Langurs are among the other exotic animals that the park protects. After that you can visit the Tea Museum. You will have a chance to view some of the exhibits such as the primitive tea roller to the contemporary fully automated tea plant. You can also vist The Tata Tea Museum which faithfully depicts the development of Munnar tea farms.
After a full day of viewing exotic and natural beauty you will be driven to your accommodation for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Day 03:Munnar To Periyar(120 Kms / 31/2 Hrs)
After a healthy and appealing breakfast, you will be driven towards your next auspicious spot, Periyar. On the way you will get the view of lengthy roads with a sweet breeze. It is one of India's most popular wildlife refuges. The area has magnificent and endless chains of hills and spice-scented plantations. Thekkady is the largest wildlife sanctuary in India, covering an area of 777 square kilometres. A 25 square kilometre manmade lake surrounds Thekkady. You can go cruising on Lake Periyar in the afternoon to get up close and personal with the wildlife. You will catch the sight of some exotic animals like Asian elephants, bison, sambar deer, boars, wild squirrels and lion-tailed monkeys.
You will have your evening to yourself so that you can wander around Kumily, a town famous for its spices.
From there you will be driven to your hotel for a cozy and comfortable sleep.
Day 04: Thekkady – Alleppey( 150kms/4 1/2 Hrs)
After a heavy breakfast you will be driven towards your next beautiful spot, Alleppey. You will be provided with your own private houseboat. These vessels are an updated version of the rice boats that were originally used to transport large quantities of rice and spices. They have been transformed into cozy floating hotels that offer romantic cruises through the backwaters.
You will enjoy the canal cruise while acquiring a sight of the charming and rustic village life. You will be served a delicious meal on the boat itself. You can enjoy it with the astounding view of the sea. By sunset the houseboat will be fastened. You will enjoy a delectable dinner and spend the night on the houseboat.
Day 05: Alleppey – Kovalam (190 Kms/5 Hrs)
After a lovely breakfast you will be driven to a beautiful and stunning piece of architecture, The Jatayu National Park. The giant concentrate statue of Jatayu is built on a mighty rock named jatayupara. It has historical significance from the Ramayana which you will come to know when you reach there. The statue is 200 feet long, 150 feet wide and 70 feet tall, that makes it the largest functional bird sculpture in the world. It has also marked its name in the Guinness Book of World Records.
After spending the day of soaking in the beauty of the architectural marvel, you will be driven to kovalam where you will spend the rest of your night in a peaceful sleep.
Day 06: Kovalam – Cape- Kovalam. (86.8 Km/2 H 36 Min)
After a heavy breakfast you will be driven to the southernmost town in India, Kanyakumari. It is located in the state of Tamil Nadu. The town projects into the Laccadive Sea and was formerly known as Cape Comorin under British rule. It is well-renowned for its oceanfront sunrises and sunsets. This location also has the Bagavathi Amman Temple that is devoted to goddess Parvati. After saturating the beauty of Kanyakumari, you will be driven to kovalam where you can spend your evening on the beach and enjoy the sunset.
You will then be taken to your accommodation where you can have a good night’s sleep.
Day 07: Kovalam Departure
