Itinerary
Day 1
Upon arrival, the Veena World Tour Manager will assist all guests with airport formalities before transporting them to Port Louis, Mauritius' capital city known for its French Colonial architecture and major economic and cultural center.
In the evening, all guests will participate in a brief Meet and Greet.
Day 2
Today we are going to head towards Pamplemousses, also known as Sir Seewoosagur Botanic Gardens, which is home to a vast array of tropical plants and giant water lilies. Later, we go to Citadel Fort to get a bird's-eye view of the city. In the afternoon, we explore Port Louis, visiting the Catholic Church, Mosque, High Court Building, Port Louis Theatre, and French Colonial buildings, as well as having free time to shop at Le Caudan Waterfront.
Day 3
Today we experience the thrill of a high-speed boat ride to Ile Aux Cerfs Island, Mauritius' paradise island. Upon arrival, we take a breath-taking parasailing ride to admire the beauty of the island from above. Later, we swim in Mauritius' crystal clear blue waters. At an additional cost, you can also participate in various adventure water sport activities such as Banana Boat, Under Sea Walk, and Sea Hover. We have free time in the evening to relax and explore our surroundings.
Day 4
Today is a full-day excursion to Casela Bird Park, which is home to approximately 150 species of birds from various continents, including the beautiful long-necked pink pigeons, which were on the verge of extinction. Later, we have free time to shop at Bagatelle Mall, one of Mauritius' leading shopping destinations.
Day 5
Today is our free day to explore this lovely island on our own. Please keep in mind that most Mauritius hotels provide free activities such as boating and kayaking. Guests can participate in these activities in their spare time if they pre-book them.
Day 6
Today we visit the Model Ship Factory before heading to South Island. We start with Trou Aux Cerfs, also known as Murr's Volcano, a dormant volcano, and then move on to Grand Bassin, the Sacred Lake, and Shiva Temple.
We travel to Chamarel village in the afternoon. On the way, we'll stop at Curious Corner, a world of illusions. When we arrive, we see the Black River George, the Chamarel Waterfalls, and the Seven Colored Earths.
Day 7
It's time to say good-by!
